Is there an option to keep PDFgear away from AI?

Just by playing around with the editing capabilities, I accidentally uploaded document content to your ChatGPT API online interface that wasn't supposed to leave my PC.

Is there some main kill switch to ensure my data stays offline or could you please add one?

I think the software is capable and looks and functions really nice - but rubbing the online functions under everyone's nose so aggressively with these floating buttons isn't doing it a favor.

In Help - Settings, there is an option called Enable PDFgear Copilot. You can deselect that option to turn off the AI feature.

Please note that your document won't be analyzed automatically even when Copilot is enabled. The content is only processed when you start to use AI chat with PDF. The AI does not directly read your text. Instead, it processes the document by mapping all content into coordinates.

PDFgear uses ChatGPT's LLM and all data processing under OpenAI's privacy policy. PDFgear does not perform any AI-related data analysis or retention.
